As stated in subject line, I would like to know if 256mb ram and 128-bit
card would be faster than a 128mb and 256-bit card, all assuming that the
card is the same brand, video chip level and all that

128 Mb/256 bit is faster.

The 256-bit card will always be faster, regardless of the RAM.
