High Quality button in PP 2007

Linda

When I click the 'high quality' option in the bottom right corner of the
File, Print screen, my custom bullets look great but I lose a lot of the
color from my gradient. The gradient is a medium blue that goes to dark blue
and the medium blue goes totally gray when I use the high quality button.

I don't want to change the colors in the gradient because others print the
same presentation and they are on 2003 and it prints fine for them.

Has anyone had this issue with PP 2007?

Hi Linda

Are you using an add-in or another programme to take screen shots? I don't
have file -> print screen, let alone a 'high quality' option....

0o0o0 thanks Echo - I hadn't spotted that tick box before. I'm not a big one
for printing presentations... :)

I think "File, Print screen" = Office Button | Print dialog box.

To the original poster -- you might check for updated printer drivers, as
this sounds like a printer driver issue.

I didn't mean File, Print screen...I meant to say the File, Print dialog box.
Anyway I finally figured out what happened. The medium blue had a 50%
transparency to it and when I selected the "High Quality" box, it intensified
the transparency. Once I backed off the percentage to 10%, it printed great.

Thank you all for your comments!

Thanks for posting back, Linda. That's great information -- something that
will, I'm sure, help someone else in future.
