Gradient Fill in PP 2007

In the old version of powerpoint, you were able to completely customize a
gradient fill for a shape. In this new version, there are a select few
gradient fills to choose from and you can modify those as needed. Is there
anyway to create your own gradient fill from scratch so that it meets the
look of your deck? For example, I want to create a light yellow to white?
Is there a way to do that in this newer version without using the premade
gradients?

I know that they got rid of the old ability to customize textures. Have
they done the same for gradient fill??
