I have a machine hear that is using allot of memory with nothing running.
When I start windows it is using about 134 MB ram and starts to climb
slowly. This came about by a complaint the machine is too slow. When I first
go there it was using over 521 MB ram. but what was in the Processes didn't
even come close to that much. I took awhile for everything to shut down but
I only got down to 498 MB Ram. Why? Normally on a machine like this I should
be a 100 or less. the only else running is the Office XP Pro task bar. I
have more memory coming but I don't think I should even be using that much
in the first place.
Will do a full virus scan.
