High memory Usage

My Mem Usage in the Task Manager is pegged at 177740K.
There are no applications running. What should I do? The
CPU usage is low and seems to be correct. But the Mem
usage is half way full when nothing is running.
Any help is appreciated.

on the processes tab in Task Manager click on Mem Usage to see what process
is using the memory.
