I ahve the same problem as some people do, having backgrounds for browsers
white with all the text black and hyperlinks blue. The solution is to go to
accessibility options and uncheck the high contrast but when i go to
accessibility options its in the background and i cant uncheck it, ive tried
shortcuts to it and pretty much everything there is to it, the only solution
i found it to disable the
options all together by making a .reg file but i dont know how to make it, if
any one could come up with a solution that would be greatly appreciated.
plus its making me really irratated because its making my new office 07 look
like it was from 97 so please help me if you can

ps. i have the code for the .reg file i just need someone to make it to
where i can just double click it to make it work just email me if u want the
code:
(e-mail address removed)

1. Download FixPolicies.exe by MS MVP Bill Castner, saving it to your
desktop: http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/BillCastner/FixPolicies.exe
2. Double click on FixPolicies.exe to run it.
3. Click on Install: a folder named FixPolicies will be created on your
desktop.
4. Open the FixPolicies folder.
5. Double click on Fix_policies.cmd to run it. A Command prompt will open
and close quickly; this is normal.
6. Reboot.

just my luck,
i tried what you told me to and it didnt change anything,
i ran it and restarted my comp 3 times checking it every time and nothin
you have any other suggestions?

Just this...

One or more options/settings in an ever-growing number of third-party
applications may be disallowing the change(s) (upon reboot). These include
anti-spyware applications (e.g., Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer,
SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, CounterSpy, WinPatrol, etc),
anti-virus appliations & security suites (Norton, McAfee, ESET/NOD32,
Kasperky, Trend Micro, etc.), and third-party firewalls (e.g., Zone Alarm,
etc.).

Note that temporarily disabling the application(s) or rebooting into Safe
Mode may not disable the system protections.

You can easily create a .reg file in Notepad.
Post the information here and someone will help you if necessary.

I can tell you how to create the .reg file from your data but I cannot
be sure that your data is correct.

Make up a file from the lines below. Copy into a file called fix.reg
which should be created in Notepad. Do not retype, copy in case of
errors. The 1st line in the file is the line REGEDIT4
Make sure your mail or news reader does not add any spaces to the end
of a line.
The last line must be blank.
Right-click fix.reg and select Merge.

can only import binary from within the registry editor, ill try within
regedit but i doubt itll work so do you know whats wrong with it?

If you don't (1) disable Tea Timer and (2) de-Immunize before (3)
uninstalling Spybot, you wasted your time and the restrictions are still in
place.

yeah, i dont know if its what Alan did but the .reg just kinda reset
everything setting wise for accessibilty options, as long as its unchecked im
happy
