Hiding Table line when printing

Greetings

Wonderful saints on this site helped me with a tab problem I had when they suggested I create a table instead of using the tab key as with a typewritter

I love the tables... all my problems are solved

Of course this has created an additional situation. When I print the table the lines, vert. and hor., are printed also. I do not want the vert. and hor. lines to print. I would like to see the data in just lined up in columns. Is it possible to eliminate - turn off - the lines when I print

I always go to the help menu to try to solve my problems first but I can't find the information I am looking for

Did you turn off the table borders after you created your table like I
mentioned? When you insert a table, you WILL get borders. If you don't
want them, you need to select the table and on the "Borders" dropdown arrow
on the "Tables and Borders" toolbar, you need to select "No border". You
will STILL see the gridlines between your cells, but they won't print!

Ctrl+Alt+U will remove table borders, or you can use None in the Format |
Borders and Shading dialog or the No Border button on the Borders palette
(Formatting toolbar).
