Hiding programs from Guests group?

I've created a new user (userg) and added him to the Guests group. I'm
an admin and install all programs as "all users". This means Guests
see every program installed in their programs menu. As admin, I've
gone into the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users | Security and
removed "everyone". Guests is not listed. The User group is still
there, which userg is not a member of. However, the userg still sees
all of these programs.

How can I hide all of these programs from the Guests group startup
program menu without removing them individually? I'm guessing if I
remove any of them, it will affect me as admin since I see those
programs also.

I'd also like to run the Wireless Zero Configuration since for some
reason the wireless connection isn't working for userg. However, when
I try to run that service in userg's account, I get an access denied.
What is the best way to do this?

Thanks,
Brett

Copy the directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\

to the same location for your admin account, such as

C:\Documents and Settings\ADMIN\Start Menu\

and remove the programs you don't want to appear from the All
Users\Start Menu\ directory. It will effect these new shortcuts to be
missed when uninstalling programs and they will need to be manually
deleted if you selected 'All Users' during installation. Note that
your guest account will still be able to manually run the programs
unless you specifically lock the directories using Permissions through
your admin account.

You can hide files from the guest list if you have NTFS format on your HDD.
To do this:
1. Right click on your files or folder that you want to hide and select
'Properties'.
2. Select 'Security' tab.
3. Add 'Guests' group if it does not exist in the list.
4. Select 'Guests' group
5. Remove the 'Read' permissions
6. Click OK

Note: To get the folder security tab to show in Windows XP HE, you have to start in the Safe Mode.
