Hiding mouse pointer during video playback

Is anyone out there able to tell me how to hide the mouse
pointer on slides which contain an inserted movie file ?

I have a presentation which runs on a plasma screen and
consists of slides with jpg images, text and video running
on an XP machine.

On starting the slideshow, I chose "hidden pointer" and
this works for all the slides containing text and jpg
images - for some reason however the mouse pointer is
always visible on slides consisting of an inserted movie
file. This happens on all versions of powerpoint.

Any help would be most appreciated,

Dave

Thanks for the suggestion about moving the pointer to the
bottom of the screen - this is the solution i came up with
also. Only problem with this is that i'm not always sat
at the PC when I start the presentation. More often than
not I control the PC remotely to start the presentation.
This makes moving the mouse pointer to the bottom of the
screen difficult as the monitor sizes on the control PC
and the PC running the presentation are different.
