Hiding inactive icons

B

Brad

When I switch an item from "Hide When Inactive"
to "Always Show" apply and close the Taskbar and Start
Menu Properties dialog, it reverts back to "Hide When
Inactive". Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

A silly question but after changing the item's option
to 'always show' you pressed the OK button. This closes
the first window and takes you back to the taskbar and
startup men properties window. When you reached this
window did you press the Apply button followed by OK or
did you simple press OK? If you did not press the Apply
button this is the reason it has reverted to hide when
inactive. Try again only this time press Apply followed by
OK.

Hope this helps
