Hiding Files

I am trying to hide a file in Shared Folders. When I make it hidden, it
doesn't do a damn thing. It is still there, labeled hidden, but right in
plain sight. Please Help!!!!

In Explorer/My Computer... Tools --> Folder Options --> View tab --> choose
'do not show hidden files and folders'

Of course, anyone else can turn this option back on. It's not intended for
security... it's usually just to hide system files that you don't want to
see every time.
