hiding/changing sender address

thanks to the helpful posts here, i now understand how to hide recipient
addresses in the BCC field. but instead of leaving the TO: field blank
(which works) or putting in my own email address, i would like it to show my
contact group name. i don't like the way leaving it blank shows
'undisclosed-recipient'. i would like the recipients to have an idea of who
the other receipients are without seeing the long list of e-addresses.
something like 'family and friends' or 'co-workers'. btw, what does BCC
stand for?

thanks,
michelle

BCC= Blind Carbon Copy, a throwback to the days when all
correspondence was done on typewriters.

There is no way to give recipients a hint of who the other recipients
are. It's an 'all or nothing' proposition. I suppose you could put a line
in the body of the message saying something like, "This email is
being sent to Uncle Bob, Aunt Carol...", etc.
