Is there a way to hide the "network" icon in the system
tray? I'm using a wireless system and of course the icon
I want to hide is associated with the network card which
I'm not using. I would like to hide that icon with the
red "X" across it. I've disabled it in Network
connections but it comes back as soon as I reboot. Any
suggestions as to hiding it. Thanks

Right click on blank area of the desktop,
properties, "desktop" tab, customize desktop and
uncheck "My Network Places".
