Hide Desktop and run application at startup

Dear all,
I have been developing Windows XP Embedded image and it is
working fine. Now I want to hide my Desktop and run my GUI application
developed in VC++ at the startup of the XPe. That is, i want to run my
application directly when boot process completes. Kindly help me to do this
query.

How about setting it as the shell?
