Hide Access Interface

Is it possible to hide the "Microsoft Access" caption an/or the 'Dialog'
border when opening a form template?

I've gone as far as I can, with hiding the menubar, toolbars, etc. I am
looking to hide the entire Acccess border and caption, so when open; only the
desktop and the form are viewed.

I also heard something about generating an .mde, which may be better than
trying to hid the MS interface. However I have no idea how to go about doing
that.

Any Ideas?

Many Thanks.

Building a mde will not help, or change what shows.
All of Excel, Word, and most of office has worked with a main window, and
child windows for about 15 years now.

Further, this 'midi' interface means that your custom menu bars will be at
the TOP of the screen just like a apple mac (again, Excel, Word etc for each
screen open has the menu bar at the TOP. So, you should really do the same,
since ms-access is part of office, and it is expected to function the same.

It is not like any of your users will be surprised. And, the apple Mac works
this way by default.

So, as long as you change the app name from "ms-access", and hide all of the
interface (using the tools->startup options), then
I don't really see why you would need to hide the main background grey
windows (word, excel etc...all have this - if you MAX the window in Excel,
or this case ms-access, then you will not see that background window).

So, perahps you just maximize your forms?

Try downloading and running the 3rd example at my following web site that
shows a hidden ms-access interface, and NO CODE is required to do
this....but just some settings in the start-up.

The above has a menu bar, and it seems well like any other windows
application. And, here is some more
screen shots of ms-access with a "windows" like interface...

Most computers users first are introduced to Word, or Excel, so, really,
your interface you have is going to be what they are used to anyway....

I just don't see how users are going to benefit when the most popular
sofware
they been using have a menu bar at the top...and child windows....

If you REALLY for some strange want to get rid of this window, you can do
this here..but has some limitations
