hidden network drive

I have done mapping network drive for users on their
clients.At present for more security ,I intend that they
have access from application but they could not see
network folders.

pls tell me.

You can hide a network share by putting $ after it as the default administrative
shares have. You still need to use proper share and ntfs permissions to secure a
hidden share from unathorized access. --- Steve
