Hibernation

I no longer get this option whiule shutting down. Since, i once did "disk
clean-up" and deleted some hibenation related files (i dont know what they
were).

How to get it back?
 
Hi , you did a disk cleanup and you must have check the hibernation files
cleaner in that program.To undo whath you did you must make a system restore
and everything should be ok. Bye JP

If you run Disk Cleanup again you will see the option to delete the
hibernation file. - you might want to uncheck this. To re-enable
hibernation open an elevated command prompt (run cmd as an administrator)
and type powercfg -h. That will recreate the hibernation file.
 
hi! thanks for your reply...but i've tried that (system restore) also number
of times but it (restoration) fails/stops for some reason or other. Plz
suggest some other way to get it back. THANKS & REGARDS
 
Hi!!!
Easy way is: Type 'cmd' in the
Start Menu search box, and then press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER, to open it in
elevated Administrator mode.

Then type this into the box and press enter: powercfg/hibernate on
