Hibernation won't disengage

My new HP computer goes into hibernation. I've gone
into the control panel and power options and un-checked
the engage for the hibernation, click apply and ok and
still my pc goes into hibernation.

Any one else had the problem. Any suggestions for a
solution to dis-engage the hibernation .

Since this is a new computer, you should definitely contact HP tech
support and have them fix it for you.

As an added comment - this will most probably be a separate hibernation
facility included in the machine's BIOS. Probably to some small hard
disk partition. I have a laptop, (not HP) where that got deleted during
repartitioning, and I notice a BIOS message to the effect that it can't
be found
