Hibernation problems

When I restart my laptop, if no applications are running,
the "system idle process" seems to absorb most of the CPU
time, and programs load and run quickly.

If I wake it up from hibernation, the "system process"
takes over the CPU and programs load and run much more
slowly.

Have I got something set up wrong??

Help, PLEASE!!

Hi Pete,

You should contact the laptop manufacturer on this, as it is likely a system
driver causing the issue. One or more of the may require an update from the
system maker.

System Idle is what is run when there is nothing whatever around to do.
When you recover from hibernation, all processes get woken up and so
there is quite a lot going on for a bit - depending on how many active
things you have around
