Hey. I have a problem with Hibernate on WIN XP HOME. I
upgraded from ME to it. Now, it goes normally, but when I
turn my PC back on it gives an error after Resuming
Windows. It says that the previous attempt to resume
failed and I had two options: Try again, and Restart

Hi Val,

It means one or more of your device drivers does not support hibernation
under WindowsXP. You may be using a basic driver set for some hardware, and
need to download and install a full set from the device manufacturer. A
standard WinXP installation often uses basic driver sets, and the ones used
in your WinME installation were likely discarded in favor of these. This was
done to ensure that the devices themselves actually worked in WinXP, but the
basic driver set does not always provide for full functionality. Suspect
video and sound card drivers first. Printer driver sets are also a common
problem.
