computer won't go on to hibernation

Hi, for some reasons for the past two days, my laptop cannot go to
hibernation.

It worked fine before. I had my setting to "hibernate when I close the lid"
before. And for the past two days, I close my lid and it doesn't go on to
hibernation. I opened the lid again, and window did not resume. And I
couldn't get it back to work unless I press the power key for ten seconds
where it goes to hibernation. Then if I close the lid again and opens it, it
went back to normal and automatically resume window.

I changed the setting to "press power key to hibernate" instead of closing
the lid. And when I press the power key, the screen would show the process
to hibernating. After it's done, it would automatically resume window for no
reasons.

If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

Update the drivers from the manufacturer's site.
