I have a two fold problem. When I shut down the computer, it only shuts down
the monitor and graphics card and the board, drives etc still run. The
machine has to be switched of at the UPS for the rest to shut down. The
second problem is that after a couple of Hrs working the graphics card and
monitor shut down automatically and cannot be revived without rebooting. I
think the two are related.
Hibernation is not enabled and the monitor settings are “never switch offâ€
in the power settings tab. System is Win Xp Ser Pack 2 with all current
updates. Bios is set at S1.
Any thought would be appreciated.
