Hello
I reloaded windows Xp home edition after my laptop
continually went slow. it is much better. However I can't
access any "hibernate" or "standby" features in power
management, therefore can't put my laptop into hibernate.
can anyone help?
Thanks

Hello Karen, try going to this site:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
I think line 204 on the right side, click it,and run it
thru.then go to the power options in the control
panel, performance and maintenance, and set up your power
options.don't forget to check the box on the hibernation
tab also.
