Hi-Speed USB

My Motherboard supports USB 2.0 and I have a couple of
devices that are Hi-Speed USB and when I connect them to
my computer it sais that a Hi-Speed USB device in plugged
into a non-Hi-Speed Hub. But the devices aren't really
connected to any hub there connected direct to the
motherboard. Can any one help me please? and thank you.

The 2-6 USB ports on the computer motherboard are considered the "root
hubs".

In order to have USB 2, you need to install SP1(a).

If you have a problem with USB 2 port, it was suggested to disconnect all
USB devices and to uninstall all USB ports/hubs from Device Management and
reboot XP. When XP is restarted, it should re-detect all the USB ports/hubs
correctly.
