HI,

2 Queries
1) i have crated one project in Access and from the "Tools----->startup" i
have taken "Switchboard" as a startup form i unchecked all menu bars and
items, now i could not able to open the tables and reports.
2) how can i do calcutaions by using the entered values like "quantity" and
"price"?
could you pls give me an indea for this?

Ummm... that's what you asked for. If you turn off the database window and the
menus, then they won't be available.

You can get them back by holding down the Shift key while opening the database
or see the Database window by pressing F11. Before turning off the builtin
menus, you really should create custom menubars to allow you to do what you
want.

With a Query; you can put a calculated field in the query by typing

ExtPrice: [Quantity] * [Price]

in a vacant Field cell. Or, you can do calculations in the Control Source of a
form or report textbox.
could you pls give me an indea for this?
