helpsvc.exe overloading and with SP2

Hi All,

My helpsvc.exe is overloading the system. Due to a slower processor this can
take up to 15 miutes to clear. This happens regularly.

I have been here

and I have WinXP SP2 so I should not need this

I have automatic updates on.

The first link also says to ask for a hotfix from MS, so here I am. Any clues?

To get a hot fix you call MS Product Support Services for it. The
information on how to get it is listed in the KB article. FYI, you are not
talking to MS here. This is a peer to peer newsgroup. Everyone is a
volunteer.
