Cami

I'm trying to put a backround behind my wordart and I'm
having problems...please help me. The backround is
supposed to be black and only behind the wordart!

Cami,
See if this will help, draw a rectangle with the drawing toolbarbutton.
Rightclick on it and choose edit text, that puts your cursor in the
rectangle. Now add the WordArt text in the usual way. Select the rectangle,
be sure to click on the border, and fill it with the desired colour.
But maybe someone else will have another and better suggestion.
