Which OS? Under XP you would use various right-click Properties
options. E.g. right-click the Start button, select Properties,
the Start menu, click on Customize..., under Show on Start menu
check Internet (and select Internet Explorer in the dropdown list
if necessary). The IE icon can be added to the Desktop by
using Customize Desktop... under Display Properties. Etc.
