The top blue border stated "msmsgs.exe - Bad Image"
The actual message is as follows:

The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\dplayyx.dll is
not a valid windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette

I hope you know what this means

The dplayx.dll file is a part of DirectX/DirectPlay, which Messenger utilizes. Installing
the latest version of DirectX (9a) should correct this:
