I upgraded my XP home with XP Pro and I need to install
IIS to run my web apps but I can't find where to get the
installable IIS ... preferably 6.0?

Are you using Windows XP Professional? If you are:

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: IIS , and hit enter.
Click on "IIS Installation".

IIS 5.1 is the only version in XP Pro. Only Windows Server 2003
has IIS 6.0. You cannot install IIS 6.0 in XP Pro.
