I need to know how to put the hightlight in back of the
desktop icons the words below them I me, so they will
permanently have a color behind them. Can anyone help me
set this up?

Hi,
Right click on My Computer and click on properties. Flip to the advanced tab
and click on settings under 'performance' amd scroll down the list of visual
effects options. Uncheck "Show drop shadows...."
