help!!!!

OK! so I've tried almost EVERYTHING to get this stupid
Lexmark printer installed. I've uninstalled it from my
computer and cleaned my drivers. I've downloaded drivers
from the website and thought they were installed. I
continue to get the error message 'The Lexmark x74-75 is
not installed, please reinstall your printer driver." but
that's what I've been doing!!! any comments or answers
please help me, i'm in desperate need!
 
You need to reply under your Original Topic or else we can't keep track
becasue your all over the forum with different outcomes of steps takin!!

After following Bruce Sanderson's instructions at:
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm
you MUST restart your PC with the printer still DISCONNECTED.

Then download a new set of drivers from the Lexmark website. Click on that
file and install the drivers.

There is also a patch
http://www.downloaddelivery.com/srfilecache/lxkx75patchle.exe

You have to click on the downloaded files to install them.

They will tell you when to connect the printer.

All right people! I've tried everything! I mean I've
uninstalled everything completely and cleaned my printer
drivers from that site and still NOTHING! I'm getting the
same message evertime I install my software. 'The
Lexmark x74-75 is not installed, please reinstall your
printer driver." It is installed, I've downloaded it from
the website. My scanner and copier work when I put the
software on but my printer will not! I have no clue what
else to do, any suggestions! PLEASE HELP! :(
