how do i make data entered into a cell to be written in a database in another
worksheet automatically?
 
In the target spreadsheet click in the cell and put the = sign in, then go to
the other worksheet and select the cell you want to link, go back to the
target sheet and the formula should look something like:

=[Book1]Sheet1!$J$3

save your spreadsheets
