Help !!!

Just returned from weeks holiday and turned PC on. When I connect to the
internet using either IE7 or Firefox all I get is "index of..." pages not
matter what site a try and visit. I using using Opera 9 to input this
message as can view web pages normally. This PC (mine upstairs) is one of
two connected via router and cable modem. The other (wifes downstairs)
connects and views web pages OK.

I've checked for malware (Ad-aware & spybot S&D) and double checked for
virus by running full Pand AV scan. No issues detected. Also tried system
restore to a week ago but same issue (?)

Whats happened and how do I correct it ??? Your help appreciated.

Think you may be right. Got working by disabling Hide IP software but
until you mentioned it, didn't bother looking at time. This an hour out -
thought set for auto BST correcetion!
