This is just my opinion. automatic updates may be
convenient but their are also risks involved.I own an HP
computer and sp1 was out for two weeks before the horror
stories came out about hp's not being able to boot after
using system restore, luckily thats about the time I take
to install updates,Not all updates are without problems
read the tech issues on what the update does,you may not
need them all!example many security issues require that
the person (Hacker if you will) have physical access to
your computer to explot.Well hello if someone is in my
home office than I have other things to worry about than
my computer,what I'm trying to say is auto updates are a
risk in themselves take the time and do it manually.
