help?

k my comp. has been crashing on mw or freezing up. Message I get Is
message 4 the sasser worm but Did everything to remove and said I dont
have it. so checked for other worms. showed up none. No viruses scaned
with norton or avg free.(both up to date) So I downloaded anouther to
see. even microsoft mallisious didn't show anything. Then I checked for
hackers in reg mode and safe mode. Use hijackthis and another prog.
Showed nothingad-aware showed nothing to, same with microsoft beta and
spybot.nothing So dont know why im freezing or crashing, and when I try
to open my cmd or task manager they close instantly, before I can do
anythig. If you could help I'd apreciate it.

The 60 second countdown message is not part of any worms or viruses, it
happens when SVCHOST.EXE crashes. Look in Event Viewer, Applications and
System for possible clues as to what is causing SVCHOST.EXE to crash.

Hello steve, ya I have alread ran ad-aware se and spybot and beta anti
spy,
As well as avg and like 3 others

Some malware is forcing them closed to prevent their being used. Have
you tried any of the rootkit detecting program?

I ran rootkit reviler from sysinternals and it showed up little over
31,000 possible problems some were in avg vault and lots were not.
thats alot. so how do I know if any r good files or r they all bad?
how do I remove them?

Sorry, haven't been in the position to have to clean up after one of
those devils. I would start by reading some of the info from sysinternals.
