Help!!!!

I incorrectly installed Windows 2000 over Windows ML on my
Sony laptop and lost all Plug and Play capabilities
including my modem. So far, I have been unable to install
another modem. Can anyone advise me?

You're probably having driver problems. Windows 2000 and Windows ME use
very different drivers, and you must find and download the drivers for
Windows 2000 for your hardware. Sony is typically very poor at providing
drivers on their website, but you may want to start there. If you can't
find info there, you can always try http://www.driverguide.com

I was able to Download Sony drivers for the same upgrade. They may not be easy to get. There will most likely be about 10 driver files from Sony for modem, video battery monitor..
