In a bathtub, with warm soapy water. Make sure you unplug it first, rinse well, and let dry for at least a day (longer in winter). Water and electricity do not mix. However electronic components have had a sulpheric acid bath before you buy them so water doesn't faze them at all. But they must be dry before reapplying power.

However keyboards are cheap.

However damp dust may get stuck if you wash it.

However, seeya.

how do you clean your keyboard ,when it gets real nasty and dirty??

David,

I have to disagree with you. My story: I read a page on the net that
addressed dirty keyboards. It said to turn it upside down in the dishwasher
and don't run the dry cycle. I did this and put it outside on the patio for
a week (sun and warm weather). When it didn't work, I dug into it. There
was still water under the plastic membrane that didn't have any chance of
drying.

It's often 100 degrees where I live. I always wait a week for major electronic equipment.
