Help with Works 7.0

I know this is the XP group, but I couldn't find a discussion group for Works
7.0, just one for 6.0.

My problem is this: I just finished creating a nice little 30-field database
with Works, and on 3 of my fields, I added the "Note-it" pop-up balloon to
provide helpful hints during the data entry.

Well, the balloons are there on the forms screen that will be used for data
entry, but when I click or Double-click on the icon, nothing happens. Am I
supposed to activate the icon somehow to make the balloons work?

When I click on them in the "Forms design" page, they show the text that I
want each one to show. They just don't work on the "Forms" page...

For newsgroups, I go to "msnews.microsoft.com" and then subscribe to the
newsgroup "microsoft.public.works.win". 7.0 is covered here along with
other versions.

Michael,
That link didn't work when I pasted it into IE. Are you sure it's the right
address, or a letter isn't missing?

I even put the "http://" in front of the link to try it that way.

Their server might also be down for a minute...

This is the USENET name for the newsgroup in Outlook Express. I don't
access by IE (however, I got the address from microsoft.com support pages.)
However, you can find it on the web. Go here:
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx
Under "COMMUNITY NEWSGROUPS" on the left side of the page, double-click on
the following:
"English" then "Home and Entertainment" then "Works" then single click on
"Works for Windows"
