Help with Word 2003 (Not Responding)

All of a sudden, I cannot get my Word program to function. I open the
program, open a file (any file) and begin to navigate. It freezes and goes
to (Not Responding). Help?

Open Word, click on help, then click Detect and Repair. This may help you.
