Help with Video recommendation, Please!

Hi,
My brother upgraded his computer with a PC Chips M-960G SIS661FX
motherboard, a Celeron D 2.66 CPU, 1GB of memory. Only problem was the
shitty on-board video, it's so cheap that it won't play his Links LS
2000 game, even at 64MB ram. This new m/b won't accomodate the old
video card, and would like recommendations on a decent video card for
that motherboard. I've noticed that there are video cards with 2
segments for connection and 3 segmented cards as well, so I'm at a
lost on video cards!! He needs a mid range gaming card, priced on the
low side.
Thanks for your help!!!

Nvidia has several makers who use their chip and offer low cost (~$100
or less) AGP cards in the 128/256mb range which would suit most mid
range gamer needs. Radeons like the 8500 or 9600 would work good.
