help with unix box

hi guys,
we replaced out hosting services and now our site is hosted on a UNIX box
we have an as procedure that uses CDONTs.Newmail to submit a user query from
the site.
the procedure is not working on the sun machine.
web services claimed it is a syntax related issue.
any idea ?

Why in the world are you posting this question in a Microsoft ASP.NET group?
Doesn't your wonderful UNIX open source world offer any support? I thought
that was the big draw of UNIX - all this open source stuff - everybody has
access to everything utopia (and "death to Microsoft" mentality)... and now
you're going to Microsoft for help? LOL!

But he's right, though... You've posted a question in an ASP.NET newsgroup
about something which has nothing whatever to do with ASP.NET, about a piece
of functionality which has stopped working when you deployed it on an
operating system on which it was never intended to be deployed in the first
place...

I recently bought a car but I didn't like the road network so I tried to run
it in the sea instead - can you tell me why it sank...?

Mark,
you know the proper thing would be to say I don't know or maybe not to even
react.
I felt the asp forum would be the right place as there are allot of UNIX
based hosting services around and I figured someone already encounter the
same problem.
initiating the open BSD conversation with me is pointless as I have nothing
against using Microsoft tools - I am using them for like 10 years and
enjoying every second of it - but I was forced to move my domain to a
different hosting services and unfortunately they are using sun boxes.
