Help with the networking crashing.

Hello all if you have the 'newdotnet' spyware program and
remove it with the MS or ANY for that matter, you
internet, dhcp, and DNS (anything associated with Winsock
functions) will get hosed. This particular spam hooks its
code to the winsock and redirects it to the newdotnet dll
program code. So when this gets removed it kills a lot of
your networking subsystem If you do a system restore
point before removing it you are fine after going back,
but it will surely hose your computer causeing you to
reinstall/restore to get back to normal. But it's the new
age of spyware, this one should be catagorized as a
freaking virus.

In XP SP2,

netsh winsock reset

at a command prompt, followed by a restart, should fix the issue caused by
the removal of this pest.
