Hi,
I'm having problems with an access database and remote
connection with terminal server. If I open the database
locally everything is ok. But if I try it with the same
user via terminal server, it gives me an user security
issue and it won't let me open it.

Help, I need to understand.

Gee Syl,

It's a little hard to help you when you don't mention what version of Office
you are using and what version of Windows Terminal Server.

So, some general help for a general question...

Bottom line, Office must be installed specially for Terminal Services.

For Office 2000:
on Windows NT, see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;262584
on Windows 2000, see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;224313
on Windows Server 2003, see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=283675

For Office XP:
on Windows NT and 2000, see
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/xp/one/deph02.htm

For Office 2003:
see http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/2003/

If none of these help, feel free to share some more information.

Good luck.

What is the exact message of the "user security issue"?
