Help with Tab

Hi,
In word we set Tab for moving to fixed distance.
Is it possible do same in excel?
If possible please let me know how to set up Tab.
Thanks.
 
The closest excel has is just using the space bar multiple times.

If you wanted to indent the value in the cell, you could use:
format|cells|alignment tab
and click that Indent spinner.
