Help With Shutdown.exe

I am a teacher at a local high school here in Dallas and in order to keep
people on task, I'm interested in using the -i switch of shutdown.exe to
crash people who aren't on task. However, since we have upgraded to the
latest version of the Novell client, it displays the following message
whenever I try to shutdown a computer in my lab with the graphical interface
of shutdown.exe. "Access is denied. Failed: 165.199.144.53"

Any ideas on how I could get this working? Thanks in advance!

Do you have admin privileges to the metwork?

What do you mean by crash?
What are you trying to accomplish with the -i?
I've never tried the -i so I'm not sure how it's supposed to work on remote
computers.
Why not just just the -l -r or -s?
