Help with Remote Desktop Connection

I am unable to connect with DLink router DI-604 that I recently purchased.
The pc connects to the net and does everything except for allowing me to
remotely connect to it from other pc.

Can someone help me with the configuration?

How can I connect to a computer behind my D-Link router using Windows XP

You need to open TCP Port 3389 on the router and forward that to the private
static LAN IP of the PC you want to remotely access/control. Call from a
remote location using the public IP of the router...
