Help with PPT 'Save Picture' Feature

In Powerpoint 2007l I have created a screenshot with a text box containing Arial 10pt font. I group the picture and the text and saved the picture as a jpeg. When I inser the picture into Word 2007 the font looks bolded and way bigger than 10 pt.

Can anyone tell me why this happens. My pictures with text were not distorted in Office 2003?
