help with powerpoint 2002

hello, i am in desperate need of help!!!
i have to present something for my health class and it needs to be presented
from powerpoint onto the television.
i need to copy a presentation from powerpoint to a cd and/or dvd.
can someone PLEASE give me the step-by-step in doing so?
