Help with OU

Active Directory OUs are not like it is in the eDirectory (Novell) world.
You don't partition your Directory at the OU level in AD like you do in
Novell. Placing your workstations in this OU would only be for organizing or
grouping machines you would like to apply a group policy to.

I'm new to the Windows 2000 AD. I don't have enough time
to research to find the how to so I'm hoping I can get
some quick help on this.

I'm migrating data from an old Novell Server to my new
server. I have created an OU titled MIS in my domain.com
server. I would like my users to log on directly to the
MIS OU. My thought is to join my computer as
domain.com/mis thinking this may be the way to do it. Can
you please advise me on how to set this up, if possible.

Thanks.

Thanks you for clearing that up for me. And thanks for
saving me time in researching something that doesn't exist.
